Nowadays it’s possible to connect your Zune or iPod to your car via a USB-BOX or an AUX connection. In some cars you can even give voice commands to start the phone or navigation function. Wouldn’t it be nice that you can extend the current functions with a piece of Microsoft software? At the CES 2008 in Las Vegas Microsoft showed the new Ford Sync powered by Microsoft.

Nick White had the pleasure last week to sit down with Velle Kolde, Senior Product Manager for Microsoft Auto, to view a demo of Ford Sync. Check out the demo in the following video.

Cool, isn’t it!! Now let’s hope it will become available on the European car brands (like Peugeot, my future car)…
