Next week there will be three MCP Live Meetings which you can attend. It’s btw only interesting for MCPs who use the MCP Member site once in a while (or a lot). Check out the invitation I found on Trika’s blog :
You are invited to attend a focus group about the MCP site. If you haven’t been there recently, it is the password-protected site where you access your certification tools (transcript, cert planner, logos, welcome kit ordering, etc). If you have been there recently, you’ll know why we’d like to do a focus group to look at possible improvements <if I were good at emoticons, I would insert a wry, somewhat apologetic little face here>.
WHAT: “In this session we will ask you questions about your expectations and experiences with the MCP secure site. Whether you use the site frequently or not at all we value your opinion.” The session leaders are people who do this all the time, they will be nice to you and ask questions. I will drop in every once in a while and yell contemptuously at you, which will make you all the more receptive to the sympathetic session leader. Marketing! It’s like police interrogation. And also very much like Magnum PI.
WHO: Microsoft Certified Professionals – if you’ve been to the MCP site once or many times, you’re welcome to attend.
- Proficient in English
- Anywhere in the world
- MCTs: this will be about the MCP section of the site. We’re not talking about any content or tools locked to MCTs. So you’ll have to zip it and focus only on MCP. Hey! Zip it! ZIP! IT! ZIPIT!
WHEN: We will hold three, two-hour sessions. Hopefully one of them will be convenient for you.
Date and time, Pacific Standard
Might be good if you are in
- April 16, 2008, 10 – 12 AM PST Western Europe (check what time this is in your region)
- 2 April 17, 2008, 7:30–9:30 PM PST Asia Pacific or India (check what time this is in your region)
- April 21, 2008, 4pm – 6pm PST North America (check what time it is in your region)
WHERE: Live Meeting (you just need a computer with speakers to participate)
HOW TO PARTICIPATE: Please contact valongac at Microsoft if you are interested. Let us know if you are an MCP or MCT, and which session (1,2, or 3) you’re able to attend. Someone will respond to confirm your attendance and provide details.
I already e-mailed Valonga, so if you want to join the session too…just e-mail email@example.com.
