Arrived in Madrid for TechEd Europe 2013

After a flight of around 2 hours we (@BertWolters, @CoenV and myself) arrived at Madrid Airport around 9am. Since the convention center was the next Metro stop, we decided to register first and collect the TechEd Europe bag.

After this short TechEd Experience we decided it was time to take a trip to our appartment. After a trip of about 45 minutes we arrived at the Metro station which was closest to our appartment.

When we arrived at the appartment it was still being cleaned, so we dropped our bags and went out for lunch. Around two o’clock we arrived back at the appartment and we start building our ‘war-room’ from where we will keep our peers up-to-date about all the new stuff here at TechEd. And then it was time for dinner and no, no Spanish Tapas, but a nice Japanese (Wagyu) Burger.

Now it’s almost time for bed. At 6am we get up and rush to the convention center to be there in time for breakfast and the Keynote by Brad Anderson. Unable to attend? Check the live stream at Channel 9!
